This paper proposes a model of educational innovation for the University of Bogota Jorge Tadeo Lozano, integrating emerging technologies and flexible methodologies with the objective of strengthening continuing education. The impact of digital transformation in higher education is analyzed, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, which accelerated the adoption of virtual platforms and highlights the need for adaptation to traditional educational models. The study is based on the conceptual frameworks VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) and BANI (Fragile, Anxious, Non-linear and Incomprehensible), which make it possible to understand the challenges of today’s educational environment. In addition, it examines the competition from global platforms such as Coursera and edX, which have redefined digital education, driving new strategies for financial sustainability of universities. A state-of-the-art review is conducted, analyzing trends such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and augmented reality, which facilitate the personalization and accessibility of learning. The methodology includes a contextual analysis, expert interviews and case studies to assess the feasibility of the strategic model. The result is an innovative proposal that seeks to optimize the educational offer, ensuring its relevance in a dynamic market. It proposes an adaptable strategic model, aligned with the requirements of the digital and work environment, ensuring operational sustainability and continuous improvement in continuing education at the university.
