| dc.description.abstract | Colombia es considerada como la cuarta nación en biodiversidad mundial, las actividades derivadas de ella son una fuente importante de ingreso económico para poblaciones rurales en muchas regiones del país. Tras este panorama vemos que hoy en día actividades sostenibles surgen como alternativas que evitan el deterioro ambiental. Una de las causas de este deterioro obedece a condiciones no aptas dentro de las actividades agropecuarias, cuyos impactos eco sistémicos y culturales han acelerado el uso insostenible de los recursos naturales. Pero es precisamente en torno a sus sistemas de producción que se identifican oportunidades de diseño de métodos sostenibles para el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de quienes participan en estas actividades y de sus productos. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | Colombia is considered the fourth nation in global biodiversity, and activities derived from it are an important source of economic income for rural populations in many regions of the country. In this context, sustainable activities are emerging as alternatives to prevent environmental degradation. One of the causes of this degradation is unsuitable conditions within agricultural activities, whose ecosystemic and cultural impacts have accelerated the unsustainable use of natural resources. However, it is precisely around these production systems that opportunities for designing sustainable methods are identified, aimed at improving the quality of life for those involved in these activities and their products. | |
