| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto plantea una propuesta de rediseño y de contenidos para el sitio web del Museo del Oro de Bogotá, orientada a fortalecer su función como plataforma de divulgación del patrimonio cultural colombiano. El propósito central es mejorar la experiencia de usuario, elevar la pertinencia y claridad de la información, y desarrollar contenidos que incorporen lenguajes y narrativas adaptadas a los distintos públicos que consultan el portal, desde visitantes generales hasta investigadores, docentes y comunidades interesadas en las colecciones arqueológicas del museo. La iniciativa parte del reconocimiento de que los museos deben consolidar ecosistemas digitales que complementen la experiencia presencial y amplíen las posibilidades de aprendizaje, participación e interacción. Aunque el Museo del Oro cuenta con una destacada trayectoria institucional, su sitio web actual presenta oportunidades de mejora relacionadas con arquitectura de información, usabilidad, narrativa digital y actualización de contenidos. La propuesta se desarrolla desde un enfoque narrativo centrado en el usuario y en la mediación cultural, integrando principios de arquitectura de información y comunicación digital. Como resultado, se plantea la construcción de un prototipo más intuitivo, con contenidos desarrollados según las preferencias, necesidades y comportamientos identificados mediante entrevistas, encuestas y demás métodos de recolección de información aplicados durante la investigación. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This project presents a redesign proposal for the website of the Gold Museum in Bogotá, together with a digital content strategy aimed at strengthening its role as a platform for disseminating Colombia’s cultural heritage. The main objective is to enhance the user experience, improve the relevance and clarity of information, and develop content that incorporates languages and narratives adapted to the diverse audiences who visit the site from general visitors to researchers, teachers, and communities interested in the museum’s archaeological collections. The initiative acknowledges that museums must consolidate digital ecosystems that complement the onsite experience and expand opportunities for learning, participation, and interaction. Although the Gold Museum has a strong institutional trajectory, its current website shows areas for improvement in information architecture, usability, digital storytelling, and content updating. This proposal is developed from a narrative and user-centered approach grounded in cultural mediation, integrating principles of information architecture and digital communication. As a result, it proposes the creation of a more intuitive prototype, with content developed according to the preferences, needs, and behaviors identified through interviews, surveys, and other data collection methods implemented during the research process. | |
