| dc.description.abstract | MUV IT es un proyecto que busca aportar visibilidad al Museo del Vidrio de Bogotá (MEVIBO) por medio de una metodología de planeación de exposiciones itinerantes. Al ser este museo descentralizado, carece de reconocimiento y afluencia de visitantes, lo cual no solo afecta el propósito ético de cualquier museo que es democratizar el conocimiento, sino también su sostenibilidad. Este último punto no solo afecta el cuidado de las colecciones, también afecta la contratación permanente de n equipo solido que pueda trabajar en pro del conocimiento que se protege e impide que la misión del museo se prolongue en el tiempo. Las dinámica propuesta en MUV IT lleva exposiciones a espacios que no solo aporten a los públicos información sobre el museo, sino también, a la sostenibilidad del mismo por medio de la venta de las piezas exhibidas sin perder el norte educativo del lugar. El MEVIBO, es un museo ubicado en la localidad de San Cristóbal, en Bogotá y trabaja activamente con la comunidad para la investigación, protección y difusión de los oficios vidrieros que allí se encuentran. Por esta razón protege patrimonio material e inmaterial, siendo este último el activador de la dinámica de visibilización. El museo ofrece a sus públicos servicios educativos didácticos, especializados y venta, diseño y producción de objetos en vidrio, servicios que compondrán cada una de las exhibiciones según el estudio de públicos arrojado por la metodología. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | MUV IT is a project that seeks to enhance the visibility of the Bogotá Glass Museum (MEVIBO) through a methodology of planning traveling exhibitions. As a decentralized museum, it lacks recognition and visitor traffic, which not only affects the ethical purpose of any museum to democratize knowledge but also its sustainability. This issue not only impacts the care of the collections but also the permanent hiring of a solid team that can work towards the preservation of knowledge, hindering the museum’s mission over time. The dynamics proposed in MUV IT bring exhibitions to spaces that provide the public with information about the museum and contribute to its sustainability through the sale of exhibited pieces without losing the educational focus of the place. MEVIBO is a museum located in the San Cristóbal locality in Bogotá and works actively with the community to research, protect, and disseminate the glassmaking crafts found there. For this reason, it protects both tangible and intangible heritage, with the latter being the activator of the visibility dynamics. The museum offers its public educational and didactic services, specialized services, and the sale, design, and production of glass objects, services that will be included in each exhibition according to the public studies provided by the methodology. | |
