Resumo
Colombia ha enfrentado históricamente tres olas de migración muy grandes, la primera ola se dio durante la década de los sesenta y setenta hacia Estados Unidos, está surge por factores económicos especialmente la posibilidad de conseguir un mejor empleo y con esto mejorar la calidad de vida de los Colombianos en el exterior y en el interior del país, además de buscar una mejora en la calidad de vida de las personas muchos de los migrantes Colombianos buscaban huir de las diferentes amenazas de los grupos al margen de la ley , esta primer ola de migración se caracterizó por un alto nivel educativo alcanzado por los Colombianos en el exterior especialmente la población perteneciente a la clase alta y media del país. La segunda gran ola de migración fue hacia Venezuela a causa del auge económico que este país alcanzo gracias a las crecientes exportaciones de petróleo, esta segunda ola significo una gran oportunidad para que muchos Colombianos teniendo la facilidad de ser un país fronterizo lograran llegar a Venezuela y residir de una manera más pronta. La tercera gran ola de migración se da hacia España durante 1998 a causa de la crisis económica por la que atravesaba el país durante 1998-1999 y la gran oportunidad de vincularse al sector laboral en España teniendo la facilidad del idioma como un factor a favor que logro impulsar esta segunda ola de migración, esta tercera ola de migración se caracterizó por un gran flujo de mujeres pertenecientes a la clase alta y media.

The second great wave of migration was to Venezuela because of the economic boom that this country reached thanks to the growing oil exports, this second wave meant a great opportunity for many Colombians having the ease of being a border country to reach Venezuela and reside in a faster way. The third great wave of migration occurred to Spain during 1998 due to the economic crisis that the country was going through during 1998-1999 and the great opportunity to join the labor sector in Spain, having the ease of language as a factor in favor of I manage to promote this second wave of migration, this third wave of migration was characterized by a great flow of women belonging to the upper and middle class.
