Abstract
El texto presenta el rol que le fue asignado a la mujer por la sociedad para la época de la Independencia, y de igual forma, pretende mostrar cual fue la influencia y participación de ellas en el proceso de independentista de la Nueva Granada, de esta manera exponer qué tan importante fue su aporte para la consecución y la creación de nuevas normas y derechos para los neogranadinos con el fin de pasar a analizar por qué no fue considerada ciudadana, ni se le reconocieron mayores derechos en los textos constitucionales de la época.

The text presents the role that was assigned to women by society at the time of Independence, and in the same way, it aims to show what their influence and participation was in the independence process of New Granada, in this way to expose how important her contribution was to the achievement and creation of new norms and rights for New Granadans in order to analyze why she was not considered a citizen, nor were she recognized greater rights in the constitutional texts of the time.
