In this article will be held that the use of drones is undermining the long-term aims of the United States designed to defeat strategically al-Qaeda, whereas this organization has benefited and in fact has increased its operational capacity, recruitment and acceptance by various Islamist groups and some sectors of the Muslim population. Conceived as a liberal imperialist policy, the strategy of the Obama administration has not only been wrong for strictly militaristic essence of that policy, but for involving serious human rights record, the loss of credibility and generating more insecurity in the world and specifically in some states who fear the American interventionism.
