dc.description.abstract	Las criptomonedas son la tecnología del momento. ,Empresas, inversores, especuladores, investigadores, bancos o hasta curiosos de todo tipo quieren aprender y entender por qué están en boca de todos. ,La grandeza de las criptomonedas con Bitcoin como máximo exponente, va más allá de ser un nuevo tipo de divisa relativamente anónima, sin control institucional o gubernamental y segura, donde no existen fronteras o nacionalidades. La verdadera aportación y lo que realmente perdura en el tiempo (siendo lo más deseado por las empresas para sus plataformas) es la tecnología que trajo consigo, la blockchain. ,La cadena de bloques (o blockchain) es un nuevo modo de almacenar la información de forma distribuida y segura. Una idea, inicialmente simple, pero enormemente revolucionaria. Son muchos los que ya la atribuyen bondades como ser la futura Web 3.0, las aplicaciones del futuro o las nuevas redes empresariales. ,En este libro se verá que son las criptomonedas, entenderemos cómo funcionan desde sus conceptos más básicos para luego entender las tres evoluciones principales de la blockchain que trajeron Bitcoin, Ethereum e IOTA y por último se analizará la seguridad tanto alrededor de estas como la que se ha de tener al invertir. Un recorrido completo a la historia, tecnología y evolución de esta tecnología para todo tipo de perfiles.
dc.description.abstractenglish	Cryptocurrencies are the technology of the moment. Companies, investors, speculators, researchers, banks, and even curious individuals of all kinds want to learn and understand why they're on everyone's lips. The greatness of cryptocurrencies, with Bitcoin as their prime example, goes beyond being a new type of relatively anonymous, secure currency, free from institutional or governmental control, where borders and nationalities don't matter. The true contribution, and what truly endures over time (being the most sought-after feature for companies' platforms), is the technology it brought with it: blockchain. Blockchain is a new way of storing information in a distributed and secure manner. An idea that was initially simple, but enormously revolutionary. Many already attribute to it benefits such as being the future Web 3.0, the applications of the future, and new business networks. This book will explain what cryptocurrencies are, how they work from their most basic concepts, and then explore the three main evolutions of blockchain technology that led to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and IOTA. Finally, it will analyze the security surrounding these technologies and the security measures required when investing in them. A comprehensive overview of the history, technology, and evolution of cryptocurrencies, suitable for all types of readers.
