Abstract

When I was about twelve years old,I discovered a roll of paper in my father’s wardrobe which, on a delicate reddish background, showed the plans of our house on Neyperg- strasse 1, in the railway station district of the city of Luxem- bourg.They depicted building alterations, which should transform the ground floor of the apartment building into a tailor’s shop with an adjoining workshop.
