En la primera parte de este episodio se escuchan algunas obras del cantante argelino Omar Benamara; el segundo segmento lo componen obras del compositor francés Jean Michel Jarre: el dorado, oxígeno, magnetic fields y el emigrante. Para finalizar se escucha una colaboración entre el cantante maliense Toumani Diabaté y el músico estadounidense Taj Mahal que ofrecen los siguientes temas: queen bee, kulanjan, fanta, Mississippi-Mali blues y sahara.
