dc.description.abstract	El tratamiento de lo popular, como especificidad de la cultura y como expresión de la comunicación, ha venido siendo abordado por comunicadores sociales y antropólogos desde distintas matrices de interpretación y desde premisas que no siempre han contribuido a profundizar en el estudio de sus implicancias; y su íntima vinculación. En esta ocasión el destacado investigador Néstor García Canclini asume el análisis de este hecho descubriendo las limitaciones que han estado presentes y reclamando una metodología de trabajo transdisciplinario como condición Indispensable para una investigación integral sobre las culturas populares
dc.description.abstractenglish	The treatment of popular culture, both as a specific aspect of culture and as an expression of communication, has been addressed by social communicators and anthropologists from different interpretive frameworks and premises that have not always contributed to a deeper understanding of its implications and its close relationship with other cultures. On this occasion, the distinguished researcher Néstor García Canclini undertakes the analysis of this phenomenon, revealing the limitations that have been present and calling for a transdisciplinary methodology as an essential condition for comprehensive research on popular cultures.
