El programa está dedicado a The Bad Plus, trío de jazz contemporáneo formado inicialmente por el pianista Ethan Iverson, el bajista Reid Anderson y el baterista Dave King. Desde 2018 Orrin Evans sustituye a Ethan Iverson al piano.
