| dc.description.abstract | La conciliación en derecho es un método de resolución de conflictos por el cual las partes, con la intervención de un conciliador, llegan a un acuerdo para solucionar sus diferencias. El acta de conciliación tiene los mismos efectos jurídicos que una sentencia judicial: presta mérito ejecutivo, es decir se puede exigir su cumplimiento por vía judicial; y hace tránsito a cosa juzgada, las diferencias solucionadas por este medio no podrán ser discutidas en otra instancia. | |

The conciliation agreement has the same legal effect as a court judgment: it is enforceable, meaning its enforcement can be demanded through legal channels; and it becomes res judicata, meaning the differences resolved through this means cannot be challenged in any other instance. | |
