This is not a book for you. Unless you are a manager or, better, a top ex-ecutive. Otherwise, if you are, as I suppose, a scholar in STSor interested in STS, this is not a book addressed to you. As Roberto Verganti, professor of Innovation Management at the Politecnico di Milano and author of the book, explicitly says, “this is a book on management” (p. vii), a book “about the management of innovation and design” (p. 219) where “the pro-cess through which executives leverage external and internal resources and creativity to develop breakthrough in-novations” (p. 219) is examined
