| dc.description.abstract | Basado en la premisa de que la historia y la cultura se reflejan y afectan la forma en que las organizaciones de un país se organizan, específicamente en las estructuras, la cultura y el clima organizacional, este estudio realiza un recorrido por la historia de Japón, analizando sus efectos en las estructuras sociales y en la cultura, especialmente en el idioma, la religión y el arte. Posteriormente se analizan las organizaciones colombianas partiendo desde su historia como nación y, específicamente, de las empresas, para poder establecer un punto de comparación con sus contrapartes japonesas. Es en este punto donde se identifican las posibles similitudes y diferencias en términos de las estructuras, cultura y clima organizacional. A partir de este análisis comparativo se pueden obtener recomendaciones aplicables a las organizaciones colombianas, recomendaciones que se enfocan principalmente en la adopción de estructuras organizacionales más orgánicas y un cambio en el estilo de liderazgo, tradicionalmente autocrático y paternalista, por uno más democrático y participativo. Este es el punto que la investigación desarrolla. Se sugiere que, para poder profundizar en este tema, se logre recolectar una mayor cantidad de fuentes primarias e investigar las implicaciones de estos factores en las posibles estrategias que una organización pueda adoptar. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | Based on the premise that history and culture reflect and, in some ways, controls the way in which a country's organizations form and array, specifically in its structure, culture and climate. This study takes a journey through the history of Japan, analyzing its effects on its social structures and culture, especially in its language, religion and art, in order to understand the organizations of this nation. Subsequently, Colombian organizations are analyzed, starting from its history as a nation and how its organizations formed, specifically its companies. From this, it will be possible to establish a point of comparison with their Japanese counterparts. It is at this point on the investigation where possible similarities and differences in regard its organizational structures, culture and climate, are identified. From this comparative analysis, two main applicable recommendations for Colombian organizations are be obtained, which are mainly focused on the adoption of a more organic organizational structure and a change in the leadership style, traditionally autocratic and paternalistic, for a more democratic one. It is until these recommendations that the research is developed, and it is suggested that, to delve deeper into this topic, a greater number of primary sources should be collected. Also, the possible implications of these factors in the strategies that an organization could adopt, should be further investigated. | spa |
