In the town of October 12, the Salitre Canal is an urban component that completely fragments and breaks up the area, breaking the continuity of the urban fabric and separating the urban dynamics of the neighborhoods that surround the canal, in two.
The objective of the project is to propose an urban continuity in a specific part of the neighborhood, which connects both sides with architectural equipment.
To achieve this urban continuity, the architectural proposal must maintain the morphological characteristics identified in the context analysis, that is, the typology of the blocks, the road network, urban dynamics and the relationship with the landscape, both near and far.
The idea is that the equipment maintains this continuity by linking “the street” to the project, this being the element that will configure the proposal along the route, thus generating a pedestrian crossing to the other side of the river.
In this way, a CBDI (Center for Integral Development and Well-being) is proposed, which seeks to promote the personal and family development of the inhabitants of the neighborhood, through a program of interdisciplinary activities that allow the community to acquire knowledge and enhance their capabilities.
