Abstract
Ronald Dworkin was one of the most influential theorists of the law in the second half of the twentieth century and his legacy has influenced all legal institutions. International law has been no exception, and international tribunals, as exponents of the new development of international law have taken up several of its principles in relation to activism in defense of human rights, with a much more realistic perception of the international legal framework. Ronald Dworkin fue uno de los teóricos del derecho más influyentes de la segundamitad del siglo XX y su legado influye a todas las instituciones jurídicas. El derecho internacional no es la excepción, y las cortes, como máximos exponentes del nuevo desarrollo del derecho internacional han retomado varios de sus postulados en lo referente al activismo en la defensa de los derechos humanos con una percepción más realista del ámbito jurídico internacional.
