Resumo
En la actualidad los tatuajes y la belleza se han vuelto campos muy discutidos y
cuestionados por la gente. En lo personal me encuentro muy atraída hacia el lado de
la belleza porque soy maquilladora profesional, a raíz de esto empecé a investigar
sobre a historia de la belleza, y ahí me encontré con los tatuajes, ya que hacen parte
de la historia de la belleza y tienen bastante significados. Los tatuajes causan
controversia, pasiones, odios y demás. Pero mas allá de esto es interesante saber el
origen, como es el proceso, y todo lo que hay detrás para llegar a tener un tatuaje en
la piel. A lo largo de la historia se ha discutido si los tatuajes son sinónimo de belleza
o son algo feo para la piel, pero al final eso es muy subjetivo debido a que las
personas piensan que eso va en cada quien. A partir de la investigación de la belleza
se llega al mundo de los tatuajes donde se analiza la historia, el proceso, las
maquinas, la evolución de la tecnología y la piel del ser humano. De esta manera se
encuentra una oportunidad de Diseño Industrial en la manera de aprendizaje de los
tatuadores, que métodos usan para aprender, que procesos siguen y como lo hacen.
La piel sintética para los tatuadores es un problema a la hora de aprender el oficio, y
al final terminan usando otros métodos para lograr su objetivo, aprender a tatuar en
la piel.

Nowadays, tattoos and beauty have become very disputed and questioned by people.
Personally, I am very attracted to the beauty comunity because I am a professional
make-up artist, as a result of this I started to investigate about the history of beauty,
and I found tattoos intersting, since they are part of the history of beauty and they
have enough meanings. Tattoos cause controversy, passions, hatreds and so on. But
beyond this it is interesting to know the origin, how is the process, and all that is
behind to get to have a tattoo on the skin. Throughout history it has been discussed
whether tattoos are synonymous with beauty or are something ugly for the skin, but
in the end that is very subjective because people think that it goes in everyone. From
the investigation of the beauty one arrives at the world of the tattoos where the
history, the process, the machines, the evolution of the technology and the skin of the
human being are analyzed. In this way there is an opportunity for Industrial Design
in the way of learning of tattoo artists, what methods they use to learn, what
processes they follow and how they do it. The synthetic skin for tattooists is a
problem when it comes to learning the trade, and in the end they end up using other
methods to achieve their goal, learning to tattoo on the skin.
