dc.description.abstractEl melón y el pepino son dos variedades importantes de la familia cucurbitáceas, no hay muchos estudios respecto a su cantidad de antioxidantes, sobre todo en partes consideradas como residuos (cortezas y semillas). Sumado a esta necesidad, se quiere realizar una extracción convencional utilizando solvente (agua) y compararla con una forma de extracción asistida por ultrasonido. Las muestras también se sometieron a dos distintos tipos de pretratamiento; liofilización y congelación por nitrógeno líquido (muestras frescas).spa

dc.description.abstractenglishMelon and cucumber are two important varieties of the cucurbitaceae family, there are not many studies regarding their number of antioxidants, especially in parts considered as residues (bark and seeds). In addition to this need, we wanted to test and compare results of solvent extraction (water) against a novel form of extraction such as ultrasound. Samples were also submitted in two different types of freeze-dried pretreatment and freezing by liquid nitrogen (fresh samples).spa
