Abstract
La importancia de la realización de esta investigación es determinar si el municipio de Sandoná, Departamento de Nariño, tiene una oferta turística que satisface las expectativas de los turistas que lo visitan, lo cual debe repercutir en el desarrollo de los habitantes del municipio identificando oportunidades que les permita usar de mejor manera los recursos con los que cuentan y vean en el turismo una oportunidad para mejorar sus calidad de vida.
La investigación tiene un proceso que se encuentra dividido en tres fases:
La primera consta de determinar mediante la aplicación de encuestas a turistas, sobre el por qué se deciden a visitar el municipio de Sandoná y también en esta fase se busca determinar qué grado de conocimiento o percepción tienen los propietarios de los negocios acerca del turismo, para así mismo tener un diagnóstico del sector en el municipio.
La segunda busca a través de entrevistas a profundidad a diferentes actores de la industria turística del municipio, conocer la oferta turística con la que cuentan actualmente, conocer sus problemas, sus limitantes y las oportunidades de mejora que hayan identificado para satisfacer la demanda de los turistas que los visitan.
Y la tercera donde se sistematizará la información, se analizará, se cruzará y se obtendrán los resultados de la investigación que conduzcan a determinar qué buscan los turistas realmente cuando visitan el municipio de Sandoná, qué está ofreciendo la industria turística del municipio y cuáles son las oportunidades que se generan para satisfacer la demanda de los turistas, permitiendo estas a su vez un desarrollo a los habitantes del municipio.
Esta investigación se basará en un diseño metodológico no experimental de tipo mixto, con enfoque descriptivo y a se desarrollará a través de herramientas y técnicas para la recolección de información como la encuesta, la entrevista a profundidad y la observación, que permitan un mayor entendimiento de la situación del turismo en Sandoná.

The importance of conducting this research is to determine if the municipality of Sandoná, Department of Nariño, has a tourist offer that meets the expectations of the tourists who visit it, which should have an impact on the development of the inhabitants of the municipality identifying opportunities that allow them to better use the resources they have and see in tourism an opportunity to improve their quality of life.
The research has a process that is divided into three phases:
The first consists of determining through the application of tourist surveys, on why they decide to visit the municipality of Sandoná and also in this phase it is sought to determine what degree of knowledge or perception the business owners have about tourism, to also have a diagnosis of the sector in the municipality.
The second one seeks through in-depth interviews with different actors of the tourist industry of the municipality, to know the tourist offer they currently have, to know their problems, their limitations and the opportunities for improvement that they have identified to meet the demand of tourists They visit them.
And the third one where the information will be systematized, analyzed, crossed and the results of the investigation will be obtained that will lead to determine what tourists really look for when they visit the municipality of Sandoná, what the tourist industry of the municipality is offering and what are the opportunities that are generated to meet the demand of tourists, allowing these in turn a development to the inhabitants of the municipality.
This research will be based on a mixed non-experimental methodological design, with a descriptive approach and will be developed through tools and techniques for the collection of information such as the survey, in-depth interview and observation, which allow a better understanding of the Tourism situation in Sandoná.
