Abstract
El objetivo del presente trabajo es dar a conocer la empresa en donde se realizaron las prácticas empresariales de la estudiante Katherine Arenas.
En este se enseña, la presentación de Colombiana de Comercio y/o Alkosto S.A abarcando la identidad corporativa, el portafolio de productos, la venta de los mismos a nivel general, igualmente se dan a conocer los clientes, proveedores y competencias para la empresa; enfatizándose en el área comercial para los negocios de ferretería y hogar; conjuntamente se analizan variables internas de la compañía como la cultura organizacional. Además, se
identifican características del cargo del practicante y su pre-preparación para ingresar al mundo laboral.
Finalmente, se transmite un análisis DOFA y posteriormente un plan de mejora para el área de negocios de ferretería y hogar; al mismo tiempo, se evidencia un cuestionario como conclusión a la práctica empresarial.

The objective of this paper is to make known the company where the business practices of the student Katherine Arenas were carried out.
In this is taught, the presentation of Colombiana de Comercio and / or Alkosto S.A encompassing the corporate identity, the product portfolio, the sale of the same at a general level, the clients, suppliers and competencies for the company are also disclosed; emphasizing in the commercial area for the hardware and home businesses; Together, internal variables of the company are analyzed, such as the organizational culture. In addition, characteristics of the position of the practitioner and their pre-preparation to enter the working world are identified.
Finally, a SWOT analysis is transmitted and then an improvement plan for the hardware and home business area; At the same time, a questionnaire is evidenced as a conclusion to the business practice.
