Abstract
Durante largas discusiones en torno al papel de los muertos en el espacio público, los
autores de este texto nos fuimos imbuyendo poco a poco de experiencias y referencias
hasta trazar una geografía de lugares, símbolos y narraciones. En lo medular de esta
conversación no dejamos de enfatizar que, más allá de lo que signifiquen para sus
familiares o personas cercanas, algunos muertos tienen una utilidad para escribir
memorias colectivas, construir identidades, organizar protestas o legitimar regímenes
políticos.
