Abstract
El Principio de neutralidad busca proteger la misión humanitaria del Movimiento Internacional de la Cruz Roja y de la Media Luna Roja y por ende garantizar el acceso a los lugares donde se requiere su intervención. Lo anterior es gracias a la confianza que las poblaciones perciben hacia la Cruz Roja, si esta confianza se quiebra, no sería posible su actuar en todos los contextos donde se necesita. Si bien es cierto, la neutralidad del Movimiento está claramente definida, no se debe desconocer que las instituciones están conformadas por sujetos que tienen sus propias ideologías, posiciones y creencias. Por consiguiente, esta investigación de alcance descriptivo permitió indagar y analizar sobre la percepción que tienen los voluntarios y voluntarias de la agrupación socorrismo de la Cruz Roja de Bogotá, frente al Principio de neutralidad establecido por el Movimiento, consolidando así resultados de una muestra de 71 socorristas que participaron de este ejercicio académico.

The Principle of neutrality seeks to protect the humanitarian mission of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and therefore guarantee access to places where its intervention is required. This is thanks to the trust that the populations perceive towards the Red Cross. If this trust is broken, it would not be possible to act in all contexts where it is needed. Although it is true, the neutrality of the Movement is clearly defined, it should not be ignored that the institutions are made up of subjects who have their own ideologies, positions and beliefs. Therefore, this research of descriptive scope allowed us to investigate and analyze the perception that volunteers have of the Red Cross lifeguard group of Bogotá, in front of the Principle of neutrality established by the Movement, thus consolidating results of a sample of 71 lifeguards who participated in this academic exercise.
