Abstract
Este trabajo de investigación estudia a la trata de personas con fines de explotación sexual en los flujos migratorios de Rumania hacia España dentro del periodo 2007-2016, teniendo como finalidad el establecimiento de aquellos elementos que han influenciado en el desarrollo de dicha problemática. Lo anterior realizado bajo los planteamientos de la teoría de las redes migratorias y la teoría de la demanda de sexo, que permiten entender este proceso a partir de la existencia de redes migratorias negativas desarrolladas por relaciones desiguales de poder, que generan vulnerabilidad en los flujos migratorios entre Rumania y España. Así como, permite analizar por una parte, la magnitud de la trata con fines sexuales como elemento que influencia a las redes y por otra, el papel de elementos sociales, económicos y culturales del país de origen y destino que potencializan la vulnerabilidad del migrante ante este proceso ilícito.

This research analyses the trafficking in persons for sexual exploitation in the migratory flows from Romania to Spain within the period 2007-2016, with the purpose of establishing those elements that have influenced the development of this problem. This analysis was done under the approaches of the theory of migratory networks and the theory of the sex demand, which allow to understand this process based on the existence of negative migratory networks developed by unequal power relations, which generate vulnerability in migratory flows between Romania and Spain. It also allows to analyze, on the one hand, the magnitude of trafficking for sexual purposes as an element that influences networks and, on the other hand, the role of social, economic and cultural elements of the countries of origin and destination, that potentiate the vulnerability of the migrant toward this illicit process.
