In my last semesters, after small awards and a lot of filming, I was never more motivated to make films, but reality was in charge of showing me that to make films the desire to make is not enough. I spent a long time looking for opportunities that never came, I never had the opportunity to have, within my social circle, with direct contacts that would facilitate access to an early realization, as other people have been able to help me, and each rejection was summed up in the same thing, lack of work experience. My concern was greater every day seeing my opportunity to start. A day without much hope trying to remember my first semester, specifically a class of appreciation and criticism where my teacher said “living from cinema in Colombia sucks, but to make movies you only need a camera, a good equipment and a story that you want tell from the heart ... ”(Augusto Bernal, 20127) when remembering those words I questioned myself and decided to change the resignation felt by a cause of my frustration to exercise in the cinema, to tell my feelings from a story, So it was at that moment that the idea of "on the other platform" was born, a script that I seek to form to show how difficult it feels for me to make films in Colombia. This idea of the script starts with the first objective of making known various realities about wanting to make films in Colombia taken to other social contexts, so that many people who feel identified risk continuing, and try to fulfill their dreams, this is going to give from the story of a young working-class movie lover who makes his living in crime, when he steals a camera he has the doubt whether to sell it or try to make his own film, when deciding to make his own film he he gives an account of other realities apart from crime, making the decision to walk away and bear the consequences of it.spa
