At the global level, agriculture is one of the main factors that modify natural ecosystems due to the use of various inputs for production, given that its practices alter soils, change the characteristics of the water and modify the biodiversity present in a territory, altering itself the ecosystem services that influence the quality of human life, mainly because it is the source of food, fibers, resins and essential inputs for the well-being of humanity. Reason why there are currently different characterization and valuation studies of the services provided by ecosystems, in order to obtain and take advantage of them in a sustainable way in the agricultural area. Therefore, this article aims to carry out a bibliographic review focused on research articles, in which the different classifications given to ecosystem services are identified and analyzed, focused on the support, provisioning, regulation, and cultural services generated by agroecosystems; in order to contribute to a better understanding of sustainable production, management and proper implementation of agricultural systems. In which 76 articles were reviewed, of which 30 review articles and 38 research articles were selected, where it can be concluded that by carrying out an in-depth analysis in agroecosystems, better management practices can be guaranteed, in order to obtain a greater number of services. ecosystems that can last over time without having to cause an alteration in the entire ecosystem.
