Faith and fnance may appear at frst glance to be two different and disconnected subjects. However, this book shows the deep and intricate connection between faith and fnance in different countries, societies, and eras. This book is addressed not just to economists, investment professionals, theologians, and philosophers, but also to the public as well as policymakers. Faith, Finance and Economy is an edited volume consisting of chapters written by scholars from many academic disciplines, including theology, philosophy, history, law, economics, and business. While the scholars represented in the book do come from a variety of philosophical perspectives, they share a common interest in the connections between faith and fnance. The chapters are based on papers that the scholars presented at a conference that was organized and sponsored by Thrivent and held on July 24, 2018 at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was a pleasure for us to work with these scholars. Wespa
