| dc.description.abstract | El Mapa de ecosistemas continentales, costeros y marinos de Colombia, a escala 1:100.000, es el resultado de un esfuerzo conjunto entre el Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, los institutos del Sistema Nacional Ambiental (SINA), Parques Nacionales Naturales de Colombia y el Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi. Inicialmente se planeó la actualización del Mapa de ecosistemas de Colombia, a escala 1:500.000, de 2007. Sin embargo, las necesidades de información del país relacionadas con la planeación y la gestión ambiental eran apremiantes, razones que llevaron a un acuerdo de adicionar a esta actualización la generación de la línea base de ecosistemas a escala 1:100.000 | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The Map of Continental, Coastal, and Marine Ecosystems of Colombia, at a scale of 1:100,000, is the result of a joint effort between the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, the institutes of the National Environmental System (SINA), the National Natural Parks of Colombia, and the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute. Initially, the Map of Ecosystems of Colombia, at a scale of 1:500,000, was planned to be updated in 2007.
